Hi, I’m Ying Hui, or Ying as some of my friends call me.

Yings Creative Lab was built with one my passion and goal to support small businesses create strategically elegant websites to elevate their digital presence.

Prior to starting YCL, I spent 8 years in a full-time Marketing role, with experience in Digital Marketing, Product launches, PR & Media communications. Today, I work with solopreneurs and small businesses because  I can relate exactly to the excitement you felt when starting your business, and know exactly what many business owners struggle with - You have so many ideas in your head, but you’re unsure how to create a strategic yet captivating online presence to bring your business to market.

My Story -

In 2021, I took a sabbatical from my previous full-time role to find my calling. This is how Yings Creative Lab started - Initially as a passion project side hustle offering web design services. 

In working with my first few clients, I quickly came to realize the gap in the market:

  • There are many website developers offering a suite of custom coded websites, but modern, up and coming business owners today want to leverage on readily available tools that not only allow them to create a compelling digital presence, and can also empower them to manage their ever-evolving website and scale their business in the long run. 

  • Drag and drop website builders in the market such as Squarespace and Shopify allow business owners to do so, but many struggle with fully optimizing the backend set up, creating something unique and aesthetic, and are unfamiliar with the digital marketing know-how that will convert leads or online sales. 

& This is why I founded Yings Creative Lab

To be your go-to partner for a strategically elegant brand design & website that will differentiate your business in the market and attract high quality leads and clients so that your business continues to make big waves in your industry.

Over the past 2 years, I’ve enjoyed and sought inspiration to support more than 30 businesses while slow traveling across Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, Turkiye, Portugal, and more. I fondly remember the cities or towns in which I work on each project, and they each add a little touch of inspiration to the work that I do.
